The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be rinsed and dried in the dock, and the dust bin is automatically emptied and returned to it. This means you can set it and forget it, and only need to change the dust bag or refill the water tank every now and then.
All this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its normal mop- and vac-settings for about 160 minutes before it started to run out of power and returned to its base to recharge. This isn't too far off of the 180-minute time that Roborock claims, and is on par with other hybrids I've tried.
This is a highly well-rounded and capable product, with the only downside being the fact that it's expensive. Its sheer number of features makes it a great choice for anyone who is looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. If you can justify the cost we strongly recommend checking this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium combination. Its premium price tag is justified by its impressive feature set, which includes an impressive vacuuming capacity as well as two gyrating mops. It comes with an app-enabled smart control system and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop sets available at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my testing it did very well in all areas of the house, removing 98.4 percent of debris from all floor types and managing to lift hair that is long without tangling. The mops also performed admirably and produced excellent results for cleaning with less effort than mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational motion and an effective dose of cleaning solution.
The L10S Ultra's main selling point is its innovative multi-functional docking station. The docking station empties the dustbin into a bag that can be used for dirt, refills the tank with water to use to mop and also dry your mop pads. It features a real-time risk detection system, and its sophisticated controls let you schedule periodic cleaning sessions.
Unlike the other hybrid vacuum mops I've test, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced dirt pickup on carpets. The mops on the L10S Ultra aren't as effective at removing stubborn stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra’s high-end features, it requires regular maintenance. The base station must be cleaned and the water and dust tanks should be cleaned, empty and dried regularly to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. It is also important to keep in mind that the mop pads which are purchased separately, will need to be replaced periodically too.
I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the budget. If you're on a tight budget I suggest a more basic model that allows you to save money and still enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. Even it were the case that the L10S Ultra was the best vacuum and robotic mop you could purchase, its high cost and frequent maintenance will make it more of a want than need.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you require to get rid of messes and remove dirt from your floors. This high-powered mop and robot vacuum combo comes with an impressive 8,000 Pa of suction power, an impressively large battery capacity for mopping and vacuuming and a top-of-the-line obstacle avoidance. It has a roller-mop that is self-cleaning and makes it stand out from models which require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.
The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a big contrast to the microfiber pads and spinning discs used in other robots. The roller is nearly the entire length of the robot and it gets a constant supply of fresh water that is filtered and ozonated from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while soaking up dirt. Dry debris is picked up with the side brushes or swept up into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro is able to dump dirty mop water in its base station, where it is sucked in by the tank's heater elements and it is emptied into a bigger storage container. The onboard tank holds a decent amount of water, and can handle a half dozen mopping sessions before running dry.
Like most robot vacuums and mop combinations, the S1 Pro is ready to roll out from the box. It will need to be filled with clean water, but this is simple to do within the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock should you prefer the option of using your own brand of cleaner. If you do select this option you'll have to purchase the branded cleaning solution from Eufy, which is more expensive than other robot brands that permit users to use their own choice of cleaners.
The S1 Pro performed well in the navigation efficiency and coverage tests, as did most robots. It was quick to map out a space and moved around furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a couple times on longer pile carpets and rugs during my testing however this could be rectified when the software is updated. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that offers a lot of functionality at affordable prices.
4. best robot vacuum is Roborock's basic mop and vacuum. However, it has some outstanding features. The dock's multifunction emptying the robot's dirtbag and refilling its water tanks, as well as cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is performed by the dock. The mopping system is capable of cleaning a large portion of an area before it needs to return to its dock and the vacuum's high suction is capable of removing debris and pet hair on carpets.
The software that runs the appliance is dense, and offers a variety of options for customizing the cleaning process. The 'Normal" pathing option covers an area well, and doesn't leave any major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard-avoidance feature works well, but it is not as advanced as the color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards like carpets that are thick, but it may not be able identify smaller objects like electrical wires or rug tassels.
This device has a major problem: it doesn't have a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who vacuum a lot before using their robot. Fortunately, there's a simple workaround: the app includes an option to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. You can make use of the vacuum's mopping capabilities to remove the dust and traces that remained after vacuuming. This is a great feature that lets this vacuum clean a little better than its less expensive competitors.
